I bought the 3000K filament bulbs in 4 and 10 W, and the difference was phenomenal! I got the look I was after, plus brightness and quality of light I hadn't thought possible in filament LEDs. The one down side was that the 10W bulbs in particular were affected by the ripple control (Zellweger) signal my provider uses to switch off-peak power. (This is a known issue with dimmable LEDs.) Having experienced my Liquid LEDs, I couldn't go back, so I installed a Zellweger filter (from Gayrad, but the are others) and that practically eliminated the flicker. In the end I went a bit over budget, but the result was well and truly with it!
