Globes are faulty

We were told the globe’s ordered were dimmable and while they work, these flash on and off if the dinner is in its brightest position.

Hi John, unfortunate to hear that the bulbs flicker at full brightness but not when dimmed. In some cases, LED bulbs will not function correctly with the old-style dimmers.With a correct dimmer switch, the LED bulbs would dim smoothly from 0-100% without flicker and last longer. I went looking for reviews on this product and would you believe I have the exact same light fitting as the previous reviewer. We have a cedar cathedral ceiling, so we need a fair bit of grunt to light the living room up. These globes do the job perfectly with a warm inviting ambiance. Cheers.

Best candle globes I could find

I have 2 light assemblies which need 6 candle globes. I had GE gloves from a store which will go unamed, which cost $15 each. They are 470 lumens, but after a mere 4 months, 3 globes had become faulty! After hunting for something better, I came across these LiquidLed globes. They're 50% brighter, a lot cheaper, and the light quality is quite high. The GE has just a slightly higher light quality, but they are expensive and unreliable; not worth it. I won't be able to tell the reliability of these for at least a year, but hopefully they won't let me down. On another note, it's almost impossible to find candle globes with this brightness level. They've dramatically improved the lighting in my living/dining area.
