If any of our customers are not satisfied with their purchase, they can contact us within 30 days of receiving their order to arrange for a return and receive a refund for the purchase price, excluding the delivery cost. For orders placed before 10 a.m. AEST on a business day, enjoy the convenience of same-business-day dispatch from our Sydney warehouse. We are committed to delivering your purchases promptly.

Receive complimentary standard shipping on orders over $99 for metro areas and over $199 for regional areas in Australia, excluding bulky items. Embrace the joy of free delivery on all products over $399, except for Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island, and Christmas Island. For orders below $99, the shipping fee varies based on weight and postal code within Australia, with prices starting at $8.25.

At your convenience, you can select express delivery during checkout, where shipping charges and transit times will be displayed.

Shipment Disruptions

If you have checked your package's delivery status and noticed an issue or it has been delayed during transit, please visit our Contact Us page. We will immediately contact the courier company and ask them to trace your package and start an investigation. So that you know, this investigation may take up to 5-8 business days.

If you have yet to receive your parcel, even though the tracking system indicates it has been delivered, you must inform us within seven days of receiving the notification. This enables our team to investigate the matter promptly and resolve any issues, preventing further delays or complications in the delivery process.

Incorrect Delivery Address

If you provide us with an incorrect delivery address and a delivery attempt is made to that address, please note that the courier will automatically return the parcel to us after a specified period. This policy also applies to addresses not included in Australia Post's National Address Database, which is beyond our control. Such an attempt is still considered a delivery attempt on our behalf.

We appreciate your understanding that we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the address details you provided during your transaction, including those suggested by the automated address finder at checkout. Once the parcel is returned to our facility, we will email you to inform you of the situation. At this time, you will need to pay the applicable postage charge for your delivery location and a return-to-sender fee of $18 to cover the cost incurred by us for the courier return.

Should you cancel your order now, please note that we will deduct the original shipping charge from your refund. Suppose your initial order benefited from free shipping. In that case, we will calculate the applicable shipping charge for your area, add the return-to-sender fee of $18, and deduct that total from your refund.

The Festoon String Light package contains everything required for basic installation and includes free 11W incandescent S14 bulbs with E27 Edison Screw bases. The string light features waterproof silicon rubber lamp holders spaced 80cm apart and has waterproof universal joints at both ends for connecting multiple strings. The string also includes a 240V Australian Standard 2-pin plug and can be used with selected LED light bulbs

What is the IP65 rating, and what does it mean for outdoor use?

The IP65 rating means these festoon lights are completely protected against dust ingress and against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This means they're fully weatherproof and can be safely used outdoors year-round, even during rain, snow, and other weather conditions. The waterproof silicon rubber lamp holders provide additional protection for the bulbs and electrical connections.

Can I connect multiple strings of these festoon lights?

Yes, these festoon lights feature waterproof universal joints on both ends designed explicitly for connecting multiple strings. You can connect additional 20m or 10M strings to create 40m, 60m, or more lengths. The maximum recommended connection on a single power source is 1500W, as the total wattage should not exceed 1500W. Each connection maintains the IP65 waterproof rating when adequately secured.

How do I install these festoon lights?

Installing these festoon lights is straightforward:

  2. Ensure you have access to a standard 240V power outlet

Can I use LED bulbs instead of the included incandescent bulbs?

Yes, these festoon lights are compatible with E27 (Edison Screw) LED bulbs. Upgrading to LED bulbs offers several advantages, including lower energy consumption, reduced heat output, longer lifespan, and sometimes brighter illumination. LED bulbs are available as an upgrade option at purchase or can be added later. When selecting LED bulbs, ensure they're rated for outdoor use if you plan to install them outdoors.

What happens if one bulb breaks or burns out?

These festoon lights are designed with a parallel wiring circuit, meaning if one bulb breaks or burns out, the rest will continue to function normally. Simply replace the non-working bulb with a new E27 (Edison Screw) bulb rated at 25W or less. This design makes maintenance simple and ensures your lighting display isn't compromised by a single bulb failure.

 What is the maximum wattage these festoon lights can handle?

Each lamp holder is rated for a maximum of 25 watts, and the entire lighting chain is rated for 1500 watts. This means you can safely use bulbs up to 25W in each socket without exceeding the fixture's capacity. The included 11W incandescent bulbs, as are most LED replacement options, are well within this safety range.

Can these festoon lights be left outside year-round?

Thanks to their IP65 rating and commercial-grade construction, these festoon lights can be installed outdoors year-round in most climates. I’d previously purchased black outdoor festoon string and after alterations though I would add to my existing ones but no not to be The new ones have different connectors
