Shop Australia's highest-quality MR16 LED Bulbs (12V GU5.3). Designed to replace energy-hungry halogen downlights, these 12V spotlights fit standard push-in sockets in homes, gardens, and commercial tracks.
Upgrade to CRI 95+ colour accuracy for gallery-quality light. Our MR16s are engineered to be flicker-free and fully dimmable when paired with a compatible 12V LED driver.
The MR16 fitting (also known as GU5.3) features two thin pins spaced 5.3mm apart. It uses a "push-fit" mechanism. Unlike the GU10 (which uses mains power), the MR16 runs on 12V Low Voltage, meaning it requires a transformer or driver to operate.
At LiquidLEDs, we specialise in High-CRI MR16s. Most LED spotlights wash out colours. Ours (CRI 95+) make your home look vibrant, enhancing timber floors, artwork, and fabrics.

Why Upgrade to LiquidLEDs MR16s?
Energy Savings: Replace a hot 50W halogen with a cool running 7W LED. That's an 85% reduction in power usage.
Zero Flicker: Cheap MR16s strobe on older transformers. Ours are tested for stability (though we always recommend an LED driver upgrade).
Gallery-Grade Colour: With CRI 95+, your downlights won't just light the room—they'll beautify it.
Installation Warning: Drivers
Crucial: Old halogen transformers often have a "minimum load" (e.g., 20-50W). Efficient LEDs (7W) may not trigger them, causing flickering or strobing. For best performance, we strongly recommend upgrading to a 12V LED Driver.
MR16 (12V) vs GU10 (240V)
MR16 (This Collection): 12V. Two thin, sharp pins. Needs a transformer. Common in older downlights and garden lights.
GU10 (240V): Mains Voltage. Twist-and-lock base with thick studs. No transformer needed.
